This is a truly rare opening to join a global pharmaceutical leader who are expanding their marketing team to align with their rapid growth.

This is a newly created position, where your major function is to create, strategise and develop medical marketing campaigns for key brands within the OTC marketing team.

Currently the OTC team are more consumer marketing focused and so they need the expert input from a well-established medical marketing specialist.

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, your role will see you advising on both big name existing OTC brands as well as assisting with the marketing of the innovation side of the OTC marketing team; through assisting with major NPD projects. You will also advise the FMCG marketing team on medical marketing, when required.

Your key responsibilities are as follows:
- To develop effective expert medical marketing campaigns for OTC and FMCG brands.
- You will act as a key influencer as you engage with governments, institutions and industry bodies to enable the companies brands to operate in a favourable regulatory and legal environment. Some of the new products require constant government negotiation and liaison so this part of the role is critical.
- You will lead KOL recruitment and management across both OTC and for some FMCG brands.

Requirements
In order to be considered for this rare opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:
- You must have at least 8 years of marketing experience from a multi-national pharmaceutical environment.
- Extensive medical marketing experience is critical to this position.
- You must be well-established in terms of KOL relationship management.
- You will have a strong appreciation of how best to work with with governments and institutions and influence decisions within them.
- You must have also have strong experience of managing external advertising agencies.
