Marketing & PR Manager | Dubai
JOB PURPOSE
Assist in the creation of a strategic media relations plan, develop and place advertisements, monitor the effectiveness of media campaigns, and advise Department’s members on potential relationships with the press or the media.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Create strategic media relations plan aligned with Authority strategic objectives.
2. Develop and place advertisements in key target media from start to finish:
a. Select media source (online, broadcast and print advertising),
b. Define major features of promotion campaign (length, content…),
c. Negotiate rates and place the buy.
3. Monitor the effectiveness of media campaign (audience figures, surveys) on ongoing basis.
4. Advise Strategic Sector Development Agency members on potential relationships with the press or the media.
Required Skills:
1.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
2.Fluent in Arabic and English.
3.Strategic/Business perspective on marketing and PR.
4.Skilled in the usage of computers, including standard office applications (email, calendar, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, etc.).
Previous Experience:
5+ years work experience in Marketing and/or PR.
Secondary degree (MA or PhD) preferred.
Education
BA in Marketing/PR, Journalism or related field.
