Product Manager – Liabilities | Dubai
Our client, one of the leading banks in the Middle East has recently started their operations in UAE. Reporting to the Head of Retail, you will be responsible for the conception, development & implementation of liabilities products & services to achieve the business plan set for retail banking.
Duties & Responsibilities
• To manage the existing liabilities portfolio for the Retail Bank
• To develop new products / proposition to enhance the deposit base
• To execute plans to mobilize low cost funds Enhance and develop Current, Saving, Time deposit and Payroll propositions
• Support the branch network in promotion and sale of the product and coordinate advertising, product research, product training, special promotional efforts and monthly progress monitoring.
• Work with asset products to develop bundling packages
• To meet and exceed annual targets for deposits by Developing and executing marketing communication plans, Planning Sales / Branch promotions
• Continuously bench mark the bank’s products and services with that of the competitors.
Requirements
• A Bachelor’s/Post graduate degree in Finance /Marketing / Banking or equivalent.
• Should have at least 3 - 4 years of banking experience with exposure to liabilities, FX/premium accounts, market linked / structured deposits and banking proposition management.
• Ability to manage relationships and communication within the Bank, and negotiate with external partners.
• Sound knowledge of banking products and services in terms of operationalising them from conception to launch.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Good analytical skill.
