Senior Marketing Manager- Roaming Products | du telecom Dubai
–>JOB PURPOSE:
Manage product life cycle market and competitive analysis. Devise product pricing and positioning for existing offering and identify opportunities for new roaming products and product line extensions. Generate product requirements and market requirements documents and work closely with engineering to help bring products to market.
–>PRINCIPAL ACCPOUNTABILITIES / KEY RESULTS AREAS:
• Develop Roaming product concepts in accordance with Visitor Segment strategy
• Establish and lead feasibility of such Roaming product concepts;
• Lead project delivery and implementation
• Manage Roaming products over their life-cycle
• Monitor Roaming revenues and related KPIs; Track market trends, product growth, market share, and competitive offerings.
• Establish and communicate development and promotional priorities for visitor product family.
• Work with Segment Marketing to establish and manage a go to market and launch plan for the product family supported by integrated communications plans
• Research market conditions and identify market forces that would impact product development and systems performance.
• Work closely with Carrier and Technology Divisions in the discharge of the above responsibilities.
–>QUALIFICATION:
• Bachelor degree or equivalent and 10–15 years of telecom industry experience MBA is a plus.
–>EXPERIENCE:
• Excellent knowledge of GSM international roaming concept.
• Good understanding of telecommunication pricing principles
• Understand interconnection concept and tariff between telecom operators.
• A sound understanding of different network architecture, implementations and applications. Traditional circuit-switched telephony and packet telephony experience is useful
• Superior technical ability and network understanding is a must combined with commercial mindset and end-customer usage knowledge.
• Ability to work in a fast moving, growing company, and able to be a single contributor as well as overall leader.
• Provide strategic vision for product enhancement as well as guidance for day-to-day tactical issues.
• Develop solutions versus highlight problems.
