SMB Channel Marketing Manager | DELL Computers Dubai
Summary:
As a key member of the Middle East team, this segment and channel role is responsible for building and executing appropriate Dell and channel activities to deliver Dell’s revenue and unit targets across all product and services LOBs selling to SMBs in the Middle East region. The Manager has a broad knowledge of the market, competition and Dell’s strategy and offerings and an in depth knowledge of channel strategies, tactics and initiatives.
This person is primarily responsible for:
- building and executing marketing programmes that support Dell’s business initiatives in the SMB space and is also responsible for engagement between Dell’s channel partners and Dell’s internal teams;
- including building a strategic and tactical plan for engagement with the partners and sharing best of breed tactics amongst partners with the aim of building a premier partner ecosystem;
- should build a roadmap and plan of specific activities and touch-points between Dell and the partner which lead to incremental or accelerated revenue;
- the development of a roadmap of suitable marketing campaigns closely working with the local sales and solutions teams. The role is a marketing role to SMBs both via the channel and directly to SMBs as required by the business.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· 8 years experience in an international marketing management role. Entrepreneurial approach and mindset.
· Strong interpersonal skills, customer focus and strong ability to engage and communicate with peers and outside departments
· Promotes a positive attitude and fosters positive relations within and between Channel Partners and Dell’s sales team.
· Demonstrates a high level of productivity and quality. Multitasks effectively
· Strong drive for results, combined with a creative approach to problem solving and marketing management.
· Excellent teaming abilities
· Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
· Priority Setting & Problem Solving
COMPETENCIES:
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and technology
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate marketing initiatives.
- Advanced knowledge of Dell’s business model, customer base and segmentation strategy.
- Advanced knowledge of marketing principles, application, and channel management.
