The Candidate:
-has worked in a PR agency or on the client side in the PR department, or has studied PR in university with knowledge in the local market
-knows the in’s and out’s of PR and has a passion for it
-has had hands-on experience in executional PR activities such as writing press releases and preparing press kits; is capable in servicing brands, writing assignments and managing special events
-has some exposure to presenting to clients and launching creative events
-is a great communicator and has the talent of selling an idea that will benefit the client
-demonstrates commitment to business ethics
-develops full client confidence in day-to-day running of account
-can issue on-going analysis and assessment reports
-has had exposure to writing a series of client programs
-demonstrates talent in presentation skills
-exhibits the yearning to learn
-is able to nurture strong relationships with the media, other key stakeholders and suppliers.
Skills
•1-2 years of direct experience in the field of Public Relations
•Show consistent professionalism, maturity, fresh /innovative thinking, thirst for human insights, ownership and entrepreneurial zeal
•Strong and pleasant personality
•Organized and multitasking individual that pays attention to detail
•Highly computer literate (MS Office: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel)
•Someone looking for a career in the PR profession and not just a job
Education
•BA or BS degree from a highly reputable university. Preferable a degree in Public Relations.
