On behalf of a global consumer FMCG company we are seeking a Key Account Manager to be based in Cairo, Egypt. Reporting to the Sales Manager you will be responsible to develop and implement the sales strategy (Activity Master grid, Trade Investment) per customer in alignment with company strategic objectives (Net Revenue, COP, Gross Margin, Working Capital), and to manage the customer relationship on an ongoing basis. You will be responsible for a group of key customers, and the field sales team responsible for servicing these customers. The role has accountability for the full scope of companies' commercial interaction with the customers, ranging from the development of sales strategy per customer, the management of promotional activities and the in-store execution. The role requires close cross functional interaction with trade marketing, planning, marketing, logistics, finance, and IS.
Skills
Suitable applicants will be graduates with a minimum of 5-7 years in FMCG preferably within a Middle East Account Management role. Experience with a blue chip FMCG of at least 3 years proven track record Sales Experience with key international or local retailers. Experience of influencing and engaging key figures in customer organisation.Additional functional experience, preferably in Marketing, Trade Marketing andor Finance is an advantage.Educated to minimum bachelors degree level in a commercial subject.Fluent in English with at least one other language preferred
