Lufthansa German Airlines is looking for you as an Key Account Manager.
The Key Account Manager is responsible for reaching sales targets with allocated customers (Agents/Corporates). He is in charge of revenue optimization and expansion of market share mainly through personal sales visits with the goal of achieving a time invested ratio of 60% for corporate accounts and 40% for travel management companies. He is also responsible for contract negotiations and completion of sales agreements.
Dependent on the assignment-focus the tasks include the following:
* Comprehensive preparation of contract negotiations
* Negotiating contracts with existing corporate accounts and travel management companies belonging to allocated customer portfolios
* Negotiating contracts with high potential / high volume companies
* Relationship management
* Documentation of sales visits and subsequent feedback
* Initiating, organising and carrying out sales promotion activities as well as incentive and ad-hoc deals within given guidelines
* Monthly evaluation of portfolio development
* Participate in projects and tasks beyond own job responsibilities
Skills
We seek highly motivated professionals with a proven experience in outside sales and an excellent knowledge of the local travel market and the local economy.
The successful candidate must have a pro-active, systematic and target-oriented work approach and strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills in English. Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage. A confident manner and excellent service skills are a pre-requisite as well as the ability to work under pressure. In addition, excellent computer skills (MS Office, esp. Excel & PowerPoint), a valid transferable residence permit (iqama) a valid driving license and the willingness to work irregular hours are required.
