Leo Burnett mentors the advertisers of the future
Students benefit from expert advice as part of Dubai Lynx Academy
Dubai, UAE, 26 February 2012: For the fourth consecutive year, Leo Burnett Dubai is taking the students of the Dubai Lynx Academy under its creative wing. The Academy, in partnership with Dubai Lynx, offers 22 creative students an exclusive educational opportunity to learn from some of the industry’s leading talents.
With their career sights set on becoming stars in the world of advertising, the students will be mentored by members of Leo Burnett Dubai’s exceptional staff while attending a holistic program designed by the Lynx Academy from March 4 – 6, 2012. They will have access to personalised sessions, tutorials and workshops from top industry figures. The two-day Academy will give the participants, who are currently studying industry-related courses at universities in the MENA region, an invaluable insight into the world of advertising.

The Academy’s students will be separated into teams, to compete against fulfilling a specific brief. The winners will receive the Leo Burnett HumanKind Award. These teams will be mentored by Ali Marashi, Associate Strategic Planner; Hannah Matthews, Communication Supervisor; Sachin Mendonca, Communication Manager and Tariq Ayass, Art Director.
