Wall-mountable, wireless and stylish, the new Libratone Loop changes your listening experience

Dubai, January 2014: Libratone, the groundbreaking wireless speaker company, is pushing the boundaries of home audio once again with the introduction of the Libratone Loop, a versatile speaker that delivers breathtaking stereo sound and the convenience of wireless AirPlay and DLNA streaming. The Libratone Loop offers multiple placement options. It can be either easily mounted on a wall or placed on a table or a shelf. Slim, stylish and wall-mountable, this circular beauty delivers attractive audio on a variety of levels.

Versatility defined
Featuring a duo stand and a wall mount, the Libratone Loop is the most versatile speaker on the market. Whether it’s standing on a shelf, the floor or a table, the Libratone Loop remains just as powerful a sound source. Easily mounted on the wall, the Libratone Loop stays out of the way. Dressed in Libratone’s characteristic Italian wool, the speaker has changeable covers in several vivid colors that are easy to take off and replace. Extra covers are sold separately to suit all tastes and interiors.

Wireless music from any device
As with the rest of the Libratone product family, the Libratone Loop works seamlessly with iPad, iPhone and Android or Mac/PC, enabling outstanding sound through AirPlay or DLNA. The speaker can even be used without a Wi-Fi network router through Libratone’s PlayDirect™ technology, which works in conjunction with AirPlay and DLNA, creating a direct Wi-Fi connection between the Libratone Loop and any compatible device. You can take wireless high-end audio everywhere, without the need to be close to a wireless home network. Additionally, the Libratone Loop lets you stream wirelessly from internet radio stations.

“Libratone made its debut in the Middle East in Dubai in February 2013 and has since expanded further to other important Middle East markets such as Saudi Arabia”. Says Henrik Lindskou Mouritsen, Regional Director of Libratone Middle East. “ The recent launch of the Libratone Loop in Europe and the US has been a great success and we have no doubt that it will be very well received in the Middle East as well”.

Libratone Loop named 2014 CES Innovations and engineering Award Honoree
Despite the fact that Libratone is a relatively new brand in the market, the dedicated sound liberators from Libratone, have managed to gain international recognition for their products from a number of experts worldwide. The nomination of the Loop marks the third year in a row that a wireless speaker in the Libratone family has been recognized by the Consumer Electronics Association for outstanding design and engineering. Past honorees include the portable Libratone Zipp and the Libratone Live.

Scandinavia in your living room
Based on the aesthetics of the Scandinavian heritage, the Libratone Loop has a design so beautiful, lightweight and clean that you can’t help but stare. The round shape of the Libratone Loop, compliments the predominant sharp edges of shelves, picture frames, TV screens and other furniture, in many homes.
“We wanted to design a speaker that blows the listener away with an overwhelming and impressive performance, but at the same time has a lightweight, delicate and minimalistic design. I think the Libratone Loop has the best of both worlds. It’s versatile, stylish and makes placement easy, without compromising on sound quality.” says Tommy Andersen, CEO of Libratone.

A sonic punch
The Libratone Loop provides all the convenience and freedom of wireless music, without compromising on sound quality. The built-in Digital Signal Processing and Digital Amplification along with ribbon-based tweeters provide a crystal-clear FullRoom™ stereo sound experience. Thanks to the round shape of the speaker and the built-in FullRoom™ technology, the Libratone Loop disperses sound waves in every direction in the room and bounces sound off the walls, filling the room from corner to corner. Just one sound source has enough power to provide the audio performance with plenty of punch.

“Libratone makes sound systems for modern lifestyles offering the freedom to have full control without the use of cables. We believe this is the future of sound”, says Henrik Lindskou Mouritsen, Regional Director of Libratone Middle East.

Boost your sound!
A room’s acoustics and the audio type is every bit as important for achieving that amazing sound experience. The free Libratone app for Apple and Android devices has been designed to give users the best listening experience whatever room they’re in. Easy to use, it provides the option to enhance and customize the audio experience to match the speaker’s surroundings and the type of audio it plays. The control interface has moved to the palm of your hand.

The Libratone Loop, dressed in Pepper Black, Salty Grey or Raspberry Red, is sold at selected retailers in the UAE from December 2013 at an RRP 2.249 AED.

Extra covers in all colors of the rainbow, including Pineapple Yellow, Passion Pink, Plum Purple, Petrol Blue and Icy Blue are sold separately in retail and online from primo 2014.

Also available in the Libratone AirPlay family is the Libratone Zipp, a portable, battery-driven speaker that goes where you go, the Libratone Live, a flexible sound system that adjusts to your lifestyle and the Libratone Lounge, a true hi-fi replacement for your living room.
