Marketing and Events coordinator – Retail
Our client is a very well established retail property management company with a strong retail proposition. With an active events and marketing calendar, they are looking to recruit a strong Events and Marketing Coordinator. You will form part of a team, reporting directly to the Marketing Manager. This is a role that allows for creativity and demands a hands-on work ethic.
At least 70% of your time will be focusing on event organising, liaising with tenants for event sponsorship and getting tenants engaged in the marketing. You will have to work closely with the appointed marketing agency, liaising with decoration companies for building the event stands and ensure the overall implementation of the events. The remaining 30% of your time will be spent with general marketing activities. This will include social media posts, corporate website content and updates and collaboration agreements with retailers.
Our client is looking for a strong team player, someone who can do the job, someone who is very hands-on, not just a planner. You should be passionate about marketing, events and have a real interest in retail. Ideally you will have 3 years experience in developing, planning and implementing events. You should have experience in organising quotes, giving briefs to suppliers, creating story boards and marketing agency relationship building. You must have a firm personality that can manage tight dead-lines. All candidates must have excellent communication skills and be confident in presenting to groups. This is considered a mid management level role.
