The Role
Working directly with the CEO you will be responsible for the following
* Oversee market research, audience segmentation, and brand development
* Manage the team of seven including the Marketing Manager
* Look at new markets and develop a strategy to maximise the returns
* Develop a strong and robust CRM system to increase retention of existing clients and attract new ones
* Evaluate recent marketing plans and ensure spending reflects anticipated return and incorporates key learning’s and competitive activities
* Work closely with the senior management of the Event and Exhibitions in positioning of brands, developing relevant value propositions, and supporting sales
* Oversee development of marketing messages that have measurable impact on business growth
* Manage research and agency partners, evaluate marketing team and make hires as required
* Be responsible for brand training and engagement strategies
* Implement rigorous analytical framework creating actionable insights to optimize marketing investment
The Person
You will have at least 10/15 years marketing experience ideally from an Exhibition, Events, Conference or Publishing organisation however a good strong background in marketing with a proven track record will suffice. Fluency in English coupled with a western education is essential. You will be based in the UAE but be able to travel
