1- PR Activities:
- Initiate and execute PR activities
- Develop close relationships with media outlets in countries of importance to the company, in order to help getting exposure in those outlets.
- Identify PR opportunities on a continuous basis and convert them into activities.
- Write and distribute company’s press releases and ensure their publications.
- Plan and manage company events and company’s participation in industry events.
-Conduct periodic media analysis and surveys.
-Manage updating iHorizons website.
-Develop company collaterals (brochures, success stories, etc.) and manage their re-production process.
2- Marketing Activities:
-Maintain the database of clients, prospects and partners in coordination with the Sales team.
-Conduct basic market analysis and surveys with regards to iHorizons current and future lines of business
-Contribute to developing and executing overall company marketing plans.
-Contribute to packaging and marketing new products
-Create periodic marketing reports to summarize PR and marketing activities and results
3- Agency Liaison
In the case the company decides to engage with a PR agency for certain periods:
-Coordinate relationship and activities with agency staff.
-Arrange and attend regular agency status meetings with nominated iHorizons staff.
-Identify and retrieve information needed for execution of work by agency.
-Manages in-flow of agency reports.
Skills
-Ability to write basic documents (i.e. letters, press releases, contact reports)
-Understands basic principles of marketing
-Possesses judgment skills necessary
-Fluent in English and Arabic (writing and speaking)
-Strong experience in using business software, email, and the internet.
-Strong communication and inter-personal skills.
Education
Degree level qualification in the field of marketing or business administration.
