Our client, an event management company, is currently seeking for Marketing Manager
Your duties will include but not limited to:
Managerial Role:
• Manage and coordinate all PR & Marketing functions and resources, and ensure that all functions are executed efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner;
• Delegate and monitor the functions, goals, objectives and programs of the PR & Marketing Section;
• Prepare reports for the Senior Manager – Communications & Media on the overall performance of the PR & Marketing Section;
• Review and evaluate the work of staff under their supervision, and ensure that resources are used effectively and that all activities comply with policies and procedures;
• Advise the Senior Manager – Communications & Media on the progress of all work under their control;
Organizational Role:
• Ensure availability of required resources to carry out all the tasks related to the PR & Marketing Section;
• Perform periodic performance appraisals for the team within the PR& Marketing Section;
• Ensure that all staff acquire the required skills and knowledge through appropriate training programs;
• Ensure that policies and procedures for various functions within the section are documented and adhered to ensured to;
• Ensure that all technology needs of the section are identified to ensure the section’s processes are performed efficiently and cost effectively;
Functional Role:
• Manage the development of annual Public Relations and Communications strategy for the company;
• Manage the execution of the annual public relations plan to ensure comprehensive coverage of events/programs and announcements as well as manage events, meetings, sessions and presentations for the company;
• Manage the development of internal communication policy for the company;
• Manage and supervise the development of crisis communication plan;
• Advise the Senior Manager – Communication & Media on local, national and international factors affecting the buying and selling of the company events/programs tickets;
• Plan and conceptualize the development of events/programs marketing and publicity campaigns;
• Conduct viability study of the planned marketing and publicity campaigns for events/programs;
• Coordinate with Senior Manager – PR & Marketing to manage the development of events/programs ticket pricing strategies and balancing company’s objectives and customer satisfaction;
• Manage the development of marketing strategies based on the company’s strategic objectives, market characteristics and cost factors;
• Manage the coordination with advertising agencies to arrange promotional campaigns in all types of media;
• Manage and Supervise the development of draft marketing materials for programs such as VIP and Royal packs, e-flyers, ads, radio ads, brochures, flyers, posters, roll up banners, program plan etc presented by the advertising agency;
• Conduct proofreading and approve the draft marketing material for program such as VIP and Royal packs, e-flyers, ads, radio ads, brochures, flyers, posters, roll up banners, program plan etc presented by the advertising agency;
• Ensure the organization and execution of standard public relations activities including but not limited to drafting/ approving and disseminating press releases/ news articles and scheduling press interviews;
• Manage the coordination of publicity and detailed information (e.g. logistics) of campaigns, programs / events and activities/initiatives of the company to the relevant entities, stakeholders and all PR contacts;

Preferred Qualifications:
• Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Public Relations / Communications / Marketing or equivalent;
• Preferably Master Degree in Public Relations / Communications / Marketing or equivalent;
Preferred Experience:
• A minimum of 6 – 8 years relevant experience in Public Relations and Marketing in a public / private sector organization.
