Job summary:
The incumbent will be responsible for the development of consistent through-the-line (TTL) programmes and the overall consumer and trade channel planning for the Levant market focusing on Lebanon. He/She will work in close collaboration with the heads of Portfolio, Brand & Trade Strategy and C&TM Operations in order to ensure translation of defined strategies and objectives into plans, programmes, KPI’s effectiveness.
Requirements
Education:
University degree in Marketing or Business Administration
Work Experience:
Minimum 5 years experience in marketing, preferably with Multinational companies in the Middle East region
Language/Computer skills:
Excellent Command of English and Arabic
PC proficiency (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Access)
Functional Skills / Competencies:
Full understanding of marketing mix with in depth knowledge of consumer marketing, TTL brand communication development and adv. agency management.
Very familiar with Multinational FMCG business environment, tobacco environment and in particular with the legislation and marketing standards for tobacco.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the translation of portfolio, brand and trade strategies into detailed marketing plans in line with business objectives and KPI’s.
- Manage the development and planning of TTL communication platforms and challenge creative thinking; ensure creative media buy with a competitive advantage and an objective to develop winning propositions.
- Develop JTI business with all trade channels based on their priorities. Develop optimal channel strategy for an improved brand distribution, visibility, awareness, image and equity.
- Ensure compliance with local legislation and with JTI’s operations/marketing standards.
- Work closely with distributor for a deeper understanding of the market and trade dynamics. In coordination with the Director Sales, assist with the control and management of the sales operation, delivering sales and distribution targets according to operating plan.
