Our client, develops, manufactures and integrates the most sophisticated tools for the fully coordinated supply chain is currently looking to recruit Marketing Manager (Middle East, India and Africa).
Your duties will include but not limited to:
Defining marketing plan and managing within the guidelines provided by EMEIA Marketing Manager;
Working with MEIA Sales Teams to define tactical marketing activities within strategic vertical markets;
Executing of marketing plan once approved by EMEIA Marketing Manager or delegated responsibility;
Key marketing activities responsible for executing, include:
Direct Marketing
Web Marketing (to include local language updates)
Country Trade Shows and Seminars
Input into Advertisement Placement
Database Marketing (to include database population of sales contacts)
Public Relations
Channel Marketing
Working with Regional Marketing Managers to define and execute marcoms activities supporting key product launches & promotions;
Developing relationships and activities with Key alliances (Cisco, Microsoft, Oracle) within MEIA;
Representing the company and develop relationships with target journalists;
Localising of regional or global collateral such as case studies, vertical brochures and channel program collateral;
Working with Channel Sales team and key accredited channel partners to define partner coop marketing activities to be funded from coop marketing budget. All activities must be planned and executed within the Channel Partner Program Coop marketing guidelines. Wherever possible partner coop marketing activities should be synchronised with the country marketing plan;
Communicating marketing plan & partner coop marketing activities to country sales force, and provide regular updates;
Skills:
Knowledge & expertise in marketing planning and all areas of marketing communications execution.
Cross cultural awareness.
Knowledge & experience in Copywriting
Presentation and PowerPoints Skills.
Experience in Customer-facing situations.
Understand multi-tier channel business model
The successful applicant must conform to the following criteria:
5+ years of experience in a marketing role in IT industry, preferably with IT Vendor or Distributor.
2+ years in above role in Middle East, preferably Dubai based.
B.A. Degree or equivalent
Demonstrate ability to work on own Initiative
Ability to Manage Agency Relationships
Demonstrate ability to work with Sales Force and Marketing team to support the execution of the regional marketing plan
Good Team working Skills
Good Presentation Skills
Good Communication Skills
Proven track record in developing co-operative marketing plans with a channel network
Ideally ability to speak Arabic is an advantage but not mandatory and must have an excellent Command of English Language.
Ability to travel – must be willing and able to travel outside of Dubai. Travel will be required but limited to approx 3-4 trips per Quarter within the region and 1-2 trips per annum to Europe.
