Our client, a leading local FMCG company, currently seeks a Marketing Manager to join their expanding regional team.
Based in Dubai, reporting to the Business Unit Director, you will oversee a large range of personal care brands across the Middle East. You will manage a portfolio of international brands with an annual turnover in the Middle East of over 20 Million Dollars per annum. Many of the brands you will manage are the number 1 or 2 within their respective categories and you will be competing against some of the largest international brand names in the world. You will directly manage a marketing assistant and work with finance, logistics and the distributor teams across the region to drive the marketing calendar. You will manage the launch of all initiatives, managing copy ideas, working with agencies, managing forecasts, selling the concept and execution to the distributors and overseeing the total operating plan from strategy to execution. You will also be in charge of managing the communication with your counterparts in the United Kingdom and other principals across the world, to update them on the progress and plans for future growth. Of course your KPIs will be brand value, share and profitability and you will be rewarded through career growth for outstanding performance
As the ideal candidate, you must be degree educated with at least 7-8 years of marketing experience within an FMCG environment. There are a few must haves. You must be currently living in the UAE, you must be male due to travel to Saudi Arabia and you must be fully fluent with Arabic language to ensure you can manage launches within Saudi Arabia and the distributor in the region. You will either currently be a brand (senior brand) manager in a top FMCG multinational or currently be a marketing manager in a major local FMCG organisation.
