•Review all existing competitor advertising that includes a health and beauty offer. This should include – Pharmacy, Health Food Stores, Supermarket and Specialist Retailers and cover all mediums….press, outdoor & media.
•Devise and deliver a suitable ongoing marketing Campaign to develop the awareness of the Whites brand ,its products and services.
•Create and deliver new branch opening campaigns in conjunction with the merchandise and supply chain functions. These localized campaigns should create immediate awareness of the arrival of a great new concept in the market and be supported by a minimum of two weeks activity.
•Work with the Merchandise/Supply Chain function and the supplier based to develop joint advertising strategies and secure co-operative advertising income where required.
•Build good working relationships with various media and Mall Managements
•Negotiate the best rates and placements for advertisements as required.
•Liaise with colleagues in the merchandise/supply chain function well as store design/graphics to ensure that the marketing push is reflective of the buying plans and is consistently reflected in the stores environment.
•Prepare advertising projection costs/budgets.
•The consistency of the appropriate product and services message in terms of value and style will be key in establishing Whites and a responsibility of this role.
Requirements
•Graduate Qualification in a Marketing/Brand and or Communications discipline
•Have a minimum of two/three years experience in a marketing role preferably within the retail sector.
•A natural and proven ability to launch and build brands through effective marketing plans.
•Strong communications Skills both oral and written. English and Arabic
•Demonstrated negotiation skills.
•Demonstrated creativity.
•Computer literate, MS office and PowerPoint.
•Absolute Flexibility within a multi national workplace.
