Marketing Operations Specialist | Wunderman Cairo, Egypt

As an MOC Marketing Operations Specialist you will be integrated part of Microsofts Marketing Communication Activities from the Business Planning Perspective. Your role is at the starting point (the Setup of Campaign activities) up to the budgeting follow up after activities ended. You are a central touchpoint between Marketing and Finance, taking care of allocated markets throughout Middle East & Africa.

In a given dynamic and innovative working environment responsibilities and tasks change over time. Here is an outline of the roles activities as they are now:

MBP (Marketing Business Planning Tool) Space
Will act as the MBP champ and be the overall org admin for MBP being involved in
• Campaign Creation
• Budget Approving Process
• Activity Creation
• IO approval process / PC (Profit Centre) query
• Purchase Order creation
• Forecast in MBP and Review

Reporting
Will be the MIP/RIO Platform champ (reporting platform) – working on, connecting and providing the information into MBP and various Scorecards:

• Investment reports
• Attribute reports
• Spent reports
• Also customized reports depending on requests made by marketers

Monthly Tasks / followup
• Send out monthly reminders on forecast, month close, accrual date to all MBP campaign owners in collaboration with local finance controller
• DQI (Data Quality Indicators) – to be monitored and managed for each sub
• IO related basic support
• Quarterly forecast alignment

Skills
- Understanding of the marketing project process flow and execution.
- Ability to multi-task team deliverables and meet deadlines.
- Active, “multicultural” communication skills
- Good organization skills, acute attention to detail, consistent follow through.
- Strong skills using Software/data manipulation tools and PC based applications (specifically the Microsoft Office Suite) are a plus.
- Strong sense of initiative and ability to work under pressure on multiple tasks.
- 1-2 years experience in Marketing/Finance related function is required.
- BS/BA required.
- English language skills required; French, Turkish language skills are a plus.
