In this role you will develop mobile broadband services, data bundles and device bundles for the consumer market and additional related products and services.
You will develop and manage mobile broadband services (Internet connectivity) to meet or exceed targets as per the business case. You will have full P&L responsibility with annual budgetary revenue and ARPU targets. In addition, you may be required to manage staff in any later Mobile Broadband product group.
Overall Objectives:
• Manage and develop 3G Mobile Broadband products
• Produce product roadmap
• Prepare communications to the TRA on all related subjects and topics and approvals
• Develop post & pre paid data bundles for consumer market which will enable the company to become the preferred supplier of Mobile consumer data services
• Implement a range of data related CPE’s/Devices and offers to best support the product portfolio
• Liaise with the IT and Network departments to secure a successful implementation of the agreed product roadmap
• Study evolution to LTE and advise, document and present as required
You will analyze market and competitive insight as a basis for the positioning and design of a highly competitive product portfolio, and develop, maintain and control detailed specifications for new fixnet products and services. You will work with the technical teams to generate design documents and processes, co-ordinate implementation of products between network and IT, customer service and suppliers to ensure a launch on time, in budget and to specifications.
You will develop and implement pricing strategy for your products, perform sales and customer service training (train the trainer), provide input for user guides etc. You will make sure that a comprehensive set of business rules, activation forms, welcome packs, price and product sheets and FAQ are available in due time for launch.
You will manage customer experience testing to ensure all requirements from the user perspective are deployed and manage the go-to-market process. Following the launch, you will monitor product performance in terms of uptake usage and customer satisfaction and make changes as necessary.
General:
• Proactively manage, and where missing introduce without delay, product lifecycle plans for the products and services from cradle to grave within the product area.
• Make sure that all Business rules, activation forms, welcome packs, prices product sheets, FAQ etc are always up to date and easy accessible
• Make sure that Nawras have the optimal products & services based on customer and market insight.
• Make concepts, product definitions, overview business case preparation, complete PCID’s for the new products, services and solutions (based on customer and market insight) and define all details about service functionality.
• Take active role in making future business plans and ensure the achievement of business plan targets.
• Have an updated knowledge on competitor initiatives in the product area
• Maintain overview of product performance regarding usage, trends, uptake and performance (monthly report).
• Actively follow all the new technologies and marketing trends locally and internationally.
• Facilitate vendor presentations.
You must have:
• University degree in business with good technical understanding or engineering background with good commercial understanding
• Minimum of 5 years experience, out of which at least 3 in a mobile 3G data proposition management related function
• Experience with the following areas:
