Marketing Supervisor | Beirut

Our client, a global FMCG multinational company, currently seeks a marketing supervisor to join their expanding regional team.

This is a phenomenal opportunity to join one of the most prestigious FMCG multinationals, in a mid management role.

Based in Beirut, you will report to the Marketing Services Manager at the regional head office in Dubai. This is not a traditional marketing role, as you will have two very different responsibilities. On the corporate side, you will manage the total BTL communication plan for the market in Lebanon, working with communications and advertising agencies to build a holistic marketing plan, working with the sales teams to ensure they have the relevant tools, co-marketing plans and point of sales materials as well as the merchandising teams to develop the right communication plan in store. You will manage two marketing executives who will assist in the management of the total A&P plan, and you will build the monthly report together to share data and progress with your manager in Dubai. The second part of this role will be to manage the total promotions and events to drive awareness of your brand in social places such as nightclubs, bars, hotels, social outlets and other creative external channels. You will have a team of promoters whom you will manage to motivate them, drive a consistent message to consumers with the aim of attracting new consumers, through trial, repeat use and brand visibility.

As the ideal candidate, you must be degree educated with around 5-8 years of marketing, promotions and events experience in an FMCG environment. You must be Lebanese, who understands the Lebanese market and culture, who understands the new up and coming venues and social places that the target consumer goes to, and you must be able to manage a number of different tasks at the same time. You will be a good people manager, with excellent marketing ability and if you deliver well in this role, your next assignment would be a regional marketing role across the Levant or in any other Middle East market.
