Our client, is one of the leading visual communications and outdoor media solutions company in the UAE and across the Middle East is seeking to recruit a dynamic Media Sales Executive. The ideal candidate is preferably a woman of Arabic descent, either Lebanese, Syrian, Egyptian, Moroccan etc, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar industry.
The industry is a relatively new one to the advertiser, media buyer or agency. We install screens into out-of-home locations and we then sell advertising space on the screens. Commonly known as ambient media, digital signage or narrow casting, this is rapidly becoming a serious player amongst the more traditional forms of marketing and advertising.
The successful candidate would have to report to a Sales Manager in the early days during training and induction, however, this position would evolve into one where the candidate would become the head of the sales team for the GCC.
There is tremendous scope to further ones career both financially and experience wise.
There would be very little cold calling as most clients are already aware of the company and will have had a sales person calling on them for many years.
A conveyance allowance can be provided for as well as housing, mobile phone and laptop.
Skills
The incumbent must have experience in:
Computers- word, excel, outlook, pdf etc.
Sales on an executive level
Sales in Media -print, radio or television
Contract negotiation and closure
Client relation building and networking capabilities
Under the age of 40 would also be advisable.
The salary package is negotiable, and will depend on relevant experience, confidence and persona. Roughly between AED 14, 000 – 20, 000 p/m. There is also a commission structure to be worked between the successful candidate and the company
Driving license is a must.
