Media Supervisors are responsible in the creation and implementation of a holistic communications plan and architecture for their brands. They are responsible for having an in-depth knowledge of the client’s business and its competitors to determine sufficient advertising and media needs and to ensure plans are properly executed and delivered. In addition, Media Supervisors have day-to-day client contact and work with their counterpart Starcom team
They present media plans to clients, and oversee the work of the Associates they manage in this regard. They gather and analyze marketing data to determine the client’s advertising and media needs, and they analyze media alternatives and make recommendations as to how to best allocate the advertising budget. Plans typically include analysis and recommendations on targeting, geography, scheduling, support level and budget.
With the right business opportunities, professional experience, and outstanding performance, a Media Supervisor can expect to progress to Associate Media Director and then to Media Director.

Skills
-Experience: 3 years of relevant work experience in media planning/buying or marketing communication
-Bachelor’s degree required, preferably advertising, communication, marketing or business majors
-Technical proficiency, particularly with media systems and MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
-Ability to accurately apply principles of media math
-Solid verbal and written communication skills
-Detail-oriented and able to produce accurate work product
-Able to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure
