Interesting approach for a press ad, Nissan offers smallest interests rate on its cars, 0.99% as a special offer for the Dubai Shopping Festival.
The ad was released in 7Days in the UAE and the size was 1.4cm x 0.6cm with the text: “0.99% Our smallest interest rate ever. Call 04 2922222 Nissan.” The last record was held in 1999 by a 1.7cm by 1.2cm ad in Vossa Senhoria, the world’s smallest newspaper (Brazil).
The ad was flagged up on the front page of the newspaper; the flag was larger than the ad itself, seems like the agency was trying to ensure good exposure since the ad might not be seen probably since it is too small, nevertheless amazing idea.
