The team is pleased to announce that Mindshare MENA received the highest number of awards at the Festival of Media MENA 2015, as well as the prestigious titles of “Agency Network of the Year” and “Campaign of the Year.”
The agency dominated the edition of the MENA Festival of Media, which honors innovative media campaigns across the region. Several offices were recognized for their work, including Mindshare Dubai’s Nissan “Jadidha & Actionha” and Infiniti “Hosting Infiniti: From Saudis to Saudis” campaigns, Mindshare Tunisia’s Tunisie Telecom “Keep Our Beaches Clean” campaign, Mindshare Egypt’s Egyptian Energy Conservation Initiative, and Mindshare Lebanon’s “Tarboosh: Never Grow Up” Gandour campaign. Mindshare was selected for awards in a wide array of categories ranging from highest effectiveness to best use of content, receiving a total of 12 Festival of Media awards.
In addition to being named “Agency Network of the Year,” Mindshare Tunisia was also awarded the “Campaign of the Year” for a wildly popular cleanup initiative for telecommunications giant Tunisie Telecom. The creative campaign encouraged beach-goers to collect and deposit litter into a special scale device in exchange for high-speed mobile internet. The campaign’s audience was so inspired by the concept that they continued to collect garbage far beyond the minimum limit until the beach was completely clean.
