MobileCom introduced a new service where you can determine for how long you want to keep an SMS that you sent in the receiver’s inbox. I’m not sure what is the idea behind it but I found it irrational, why would I want to delete a message I sent to someone unless I don’t it to be kept as an evidence on me.
Sometimes I receive a message on my mobile and I’m too busy to see it, if the sender has determined a short-life-time of this message by the time I’m free to see it, its gone.
How ethical it is to let someone control others personal stuff? If someone got a confirmation from someone else by SMS and this message was planned to be automatically deleted after a while I guess the first person might have a problem.
Far from that, I don’t see the point of this service, why would I bother what will the receiver will do with messages I sent? Am I too afraid that I will stack their inbox? Its their own mobiles let them decide what would they do with it.

Just kidding..
what the heck. I don’t like the “private number” service either, shouldn’t be called a service, I call it barade.
lol Mohanned hayk shakloh
Shaden me too, but what can you say, money money.
Look at the bright side guys, if mobile operators were able to force SMS spammers to use short life message time then it would be definitely useful service.
As for private number, have you tried to call Cars and/or lands commissioner ? DO NOT do it without private number.
Well Jad if they were targeting spammers then they would of promoted this service in a different way, direct communications with them but this one is presented for the subscribers.
I dont think they would have access to new phones where msgs go directly to Phone memory … right ?
I guess they can.
if they could , they would’ve installed GPRS settings automatically … we know they cant do that !
its only possible for sms still on SIM cards nothing more ….
Well Isam I didn’t understand what is the purpose of this service to tell you the truth, why would anyone want his/her message to be automatically erased from receiver’s inbox?
