A very exciting vacancy has arisen for a dynamic individual, to work as the “Assistant Manager for Sales & Marketing” for an attraction in Abu Dhabi.
Your role will be to actively manage, promote and enhance its image and activities.
Responsibilities:
• The development of marketing plans and strategies to promote awareness of the attraction to the public, both Nationally and Internationally.
• Direct Communications: Responsible for development of targeted communications via newsletters, direct mail and database campaigns.
• Coordination of major promotions, exhibitions and trade shows for projects, with local tourism authorities – both in Abu Dhabi and at international exhibitions and events.
• Perform local market intelligence to evaluate the current perception of the attraction and areas of interest, and plan a marketing campaign on the basis of this information.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of current marketing strategies undertaken.
• Work with hotel and tour operators in the development and management of on and off-site marketing, sales and communication activities.
• Establish & maintain good working practices and relationships with local governments and authorities.
Requirements

• You will have 5 years marketing experience and ideally have spent 5 years within the tourism industry.
• Bachelor degree in marketing.
• Reporting to the Head of the Attraction, you will be required to have a high level of proficiency in English (speaking, reading and writing). Arabic will be your mother tongue.
