Main Duties:
Content Management
• Proactively edit content of the company’s website, managing all content requests from other departments / SBUs.
• Ensuring cross browser functionality is maintained at all times.
• Ensuring best practice Search Engine Optimisation is undertaken with all content published online.
• Continually monitor and look for ways to improve functionality and the customer journey within the company’s web site, putting forward recommendations and implementing any changes.
Online Marketing Campaigns
• Assist in executing online marketing campaigns, e.g. search engine marketing, email campaigns, mobile marketing and social media campaigns using analysis tools such as Coremetrics, Google ad words, Google analytics, Google trends and Hitwise, ensuring the company’s website is publicised appropriately using the best channels at the right times.
• Work alongside internal customers and approved digital agencies to create online advertisements to raise the company’s online profile and increase customer visits
Social Media Channels
• Regularly monitor and update all Facebook and Twitter pages with relevant content
• Examine ways of increasing user engagement.
• Report regularly to the business on Trip Advisor Popularity Ranking for all SBUs.
CRM
• Upload all e-mail campaigns via CRM tool.
• Broadcast emails via CRM tool.
• Working with in-house and external designers, create, design and distribute HTML e-mails to customers, communicating and creating awareness of company’s promotions.
• Carry out online marketing usability audits, installing tracking systems in order to monitor the success of e-mail marketing campaigns.
• Collate success indicators in order to quantify spend and report on ROI.
Qualifications:
• Degree Educated (Desirable)
• 2 years experience in Marketing (Desirable)
• 1 year experience in a Digital role (Desirable)
• Has a strong interest in Web and Digital technology (Essential).
• Digital designing skills in Photoshop/Fireworks (Essential), and Flash (Desirable).
• Outstanding English skills in written and verbal language (Essential).
• Good time management & prioritising skills – able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines (Essential).
• Strong communicator with the ability to communicate at all levels (Essential).
• Excellent translation skills and the ability to simplify complex information for others to understand (from IT language into understandable English) (Essential).
