Dubai, United Arab Emirates – August 11, 2015: As the official automotive sponsor, Nissan will be providing a fleet of cars that will be used to support activities and programs around the UEFA Super Cup match taking place on August 11, 2015. The Nissan Patrol, dubbed “Hero of all Terrains in Life”, will be the iconic model and the official vehicle during the match. Through its sponsorship and engagement at the event, Nissan aims to enrich the fans’ experience of the tournament and leave a lasting legacy for the people of Georgia.

A total of 51 Nissan vehicles will be provided to UEFA for various administrative needs including transportation of VIPs, UEFA staff and referees. Out of the total fleet, two Patrols will be given to the UEFA President, Michel Platini and UEFA General Secretary, Gianni Infantino. Four Patrols will be given to the competing teams, Barcelona and Sevilla (two each).

Nissan vehicles will also be present when the Trophy Journey reaches the capital city.

Nissan is the official global automotive sponsor of the UEFA Super Cup and UEFA Champions League, with a deal that will cover the period 2014/2015 to 2017/2018. As an official partner Nissan will be involved with Europe’s most prestigious club football competition through a number of its exclusive products and services.
