Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage online advertising sales opportunities, close deals, manage contracts and sales performance
- Meet online advertising revenue targets
- Set business requirements for ad units, devise ad placement strategies and define inventory and provide monthly revenue forecasts
- Balance objectives of publishers with business goals and objectives of Knockbook
- Identify and engage with ad sales partners including ad sales agencies, ad insertion and tracking platform providers, etc. to maximize value of inventory
- Work closely with Ad Operations to launch and support campaigns
- Develop custom sales materials for prospective clients
- Create target list of strategic advertisers and strategy to attract them
- Regular tracking and reporting on results
- Responsibilities include meeting target revenue goals in the defined vertical.
Skills
- Minimum 2 years of online advertising experience in sales is required; online video/rich media ad sales
- Ability to telecommute/work from home
- Solid understanding of standard online advertising metrics and performance measurements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic and a creative problem solver
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Proven track record of generating new business, growing existing relationships and exceeding revenue goals.
