The Role
- Work closely with New media Content department and Group content in identifying the content acquisition requirements for “online” to achieve traffic targets within budget.
- Develop and implement a content roll out and promotion plan that coincides with the content and windowing strategy.
- Define, track and improve key product metrics.
- Conduct competitive analysis and identify areas for differentiation.
- Develop a functional understanding of the key technological and architectural basis of the “online” website and platform to facilitate decision-making and cross-functional communication.
- Effectively collaborate with different departments within the organization to develop and prioritize requirements, translate into MRDs / PRDs and drive projects to completion.
- Aggressively identify opportunities for improvement, and incorporate new product features into the “the online” product on an ongoing basis.
- Evaluate new technologies for integration.
- Meticulously think through every aspect of the user experience, putting users’ needs and expectations first in the definition of requirements.
Requirements
- The successful candidate will have 4-8 years of experience with exceptional understanding of current online technologies and their application within a corporate environment
- An excellent track record of developing, launching, and marketing products.
- Experience with software or an online product is highly desired.
- Strong team player, able to develop strong working relationships and good organizational awareness.
- Demonstrated ability to establish relationships at the highest of levels and effectively liaise with individuals at various levels of the organization as well as vendors and partners.
- The candidate is required to have excellent analytical, organizational, problem solving and communication skills verbal and written and is able to work independently in a change driven environment.
- Strong technical skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint for the creations of management reports, presentations and analysis is required.
