The Wunderman Partner Skills Development Manager (PSDM) is a strategic partner development role and is accountable for ensuring the right strategies and plans are in place to deliver a skilled and capable partner channel aligned to Microsoft growth objectives. PSDMs accomplish this by providing partner skills development leadership within their Area or Subsidiary through annual planning, execution and measuring market impact for all partner types and segments. PSDMs lead their regional Cross-Segment Partner Skills Development Council to ensure there is a unified strategy for partner skill development and appropriate prioritization of initiatives throughout the fiscal year. The PSDM is responsible for the orchestration for executing partner skill development activities through use of vendor resources and the MPN Partner Learning Center. These solutions for partners include, but are not limited to, instructor led events through multiple delivery channels (workshops, seminars, classroom training) and online learning events (webcasts, hands-on labs online, elearning). The role has 5 key areas of responsibility:
• Partner Skills Development Planning and Management
Lead the Partner Skill Development Planning process for their subsidiary, region or area, building one unified plan to address these business priorities gaining sign off first from the Partner Skills Development Council and working with the Partner Leadership Team to drive trade off decisions, ensure budget and resources are secured for execution and gain signoff.
Conduct quarterly reviews/adjustments and keep stakeholder informed of market developments and change in partner requirements.

• Partner Execution Plan
Ongoing planning and training management to close skill gaps by targeting partner types with relevant courses, working with Partner Program Manager to market courses, selecting vendors and internal resources, setting goals and managing training results.

• Relationship Management and Partner Ecosystem Expertise
Build executive partner relationships, understanding the partner business models, participating in partner advisory boards. Establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships, conducting business reviews, understanding the subsidiary operating model and lead the Partner Skill Development Council within the subsidiary.

• Program Marketing
Work with Partner Program Manager to drive awareness, activation, utilization, and satisfaction of partner training offerings within Microsoft Partner Network (MPN).

• Drive awareness and adoption of Partner Learning Center in partner community.

Skills
Partner Skills Development Managers must have experience driving complex integrated projects or programs, expertise in skill development/training and/or adult learning, in depth knowledge of the local partner ecosystem, the ability to negotiate agreements across multiple stakeholders, and vendor management.
• The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in training best practices
• Understanding of the marketing project process flow and execution
• Strong sense of initiative and ability to work under pressure on multiple tasks
• Structured and good organization skills, consistent follow through
• Ability to multi-task team deliverables and meet deadlines
• Strong language skills (English, Arabic), further languages a plus
• Active, “multicultural” communication skills
• Strong skills using PC based applications (specifically the Microsoft Office Suite)
• Previous work related experience – 1-2 years’ experience in related function is required.
