1. Identify & evaluate various media/publications that would be suitable vehicles through which to promote clients brands and products.
2. Meet & establish cordial relationships with magazine editors and media staff to gain support & secure exposure for client’s brands and products.
3. Meet with Clients (group companies) on a regular basis to assess individual brand needs and explore opportunities to create additional media exposure in support of Brand Plans.
4. Investigate opportunities with Media to profile key decision makers within group companies to promote organisation.
5. Attend Press Launches and events for and on behalf of group companies/clients.
6. Plan, co-ordinate, implement and attend Press Launches in support of Brand/Marketing Plans.
7. Prepare Press Kits, invitations, gifts, press packs, material & images for distribution to Media.
8. Follow up and monitor RSVP’s to invitations for press events.
9. Follow up with Media after press events to encourage exposure and estimate when media coverage will happen.
10. Monitor media on daily basis for exposure of Clients brands and products.
11. Prepare tear-sheets and feedback reports to Clients on a monthly basis of exposure received and exposure value for brands and products.
12. Prepare month end reports for Management and Directors on exposure and exposure value received for Clients brands and products.
13. Explore alternative PR opportunities and advise Management of new opportunities/avenues to keep PR strategy innovative.
14. Explore other media channels like Radio & TV as PR opportunities to expand Clients media exposure and coverage.
15. Represent Clients at major events and other corporate initiatives.
16. Initiate, implement and hold regular status meetings with Clients.
17. Identify & build relationships with Clubs, Associations, Universities, Embassies that could assist in promoting Clients brands and products.
