Our client offers a range of maritime logistics and freight services to an international client base. They require a PR/Communications Executive for their office in Qatar.
Candidate MUST be a proactive self-starter who has excellent communication skills and a real ability to create and establish relationships with Media, Hotels and various other intermediaries in order to gain public awareness on the company brand.
Responsibilities:
- Internally coordinate for publicity opportunities.
- Be proactive and keep track of events, exhibitions, happenings, charity events where the company could gain from publicity as well as organizing the same.
- Liaise with the Corporate Communications group and Newspapers.
- Take charge of distribution of any news to existing clients.
- Develop an internal newsletter to be published monthly / quarterly. This would include information on new and current employees, company events, success stories, new business and the like.
- Be able to manage branding issues, notice boards, sponsorships and production of corporate giveaways and marketing brochures
Requirements:
- Preferably Female
- Related industry Degree or Diploma
- A proven track record in a similar role (Sales & Marketing, PR & Advertising, Events Management)
- GCC experience an advantage but not a preference
- High level of competency in MS Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Creative and outcome focused
- High attention to detail
