Based in Dubai and reporting to the Global Head of Public Relations (who sits in London), this is a stand alone role, for the Middle East and Africa taking a significant lead in the development of planning and implementing comprehensive Public Relation strategies for the regions. This individual will help build the infrastructure needed to leverage existing strengths in the group and ensure that all PR efforts reflect the global nature of the newly merged companies. You will ensure that the brand message is communicated consistently, in all internal and external audience targeting. Finally you will need to work collaboratively with the wider Markets Division PR team in the US, UK and Asia.
As the successful candidate, you will have a minimum five years PR experience gained within an agency or in-house PR role; financial or technology background essential. A strong knowledge of the financial industry and regional media is desired, coupled with some knowledge of the Islamic finance market, crises communications and regional customs. This individual must be able to read, write and speak fluent English, with excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to travel the regions.
