Job Description
The PR Specialist engages in creating goodwill for the Brand / Group/ Agency from developing communications strategies, messages & materials up to assisting their delivery to internal and external stakeholders.
- PR and media relations
» Plan, implement, develop and execute successful PR strategies and campaigns within agreed budgets over the Middle East, France and Italy
» Identify key PR targets and channels and implement media contact cultivation activities i.e.: setting up briefings and meetings for key media and Group management.
» Build and maintain a permanent relationship with the press.
» Build media collaterals, including case studies and press conferences
» Research, develop, write and distribute press releases and stories to key target media channels, execute campaign measurement and evaluation.
» Create, develop, put together corporate press kits.
» Manage speakers bureau: manage list of speakers, update their media training needs, liaise with them for media opportunities and prepare briefing documents ahead of interviews; and Prepare media coverage reports, monitor and analyze industry news.
- Corporate identity and corporate image
» Support the Head of Corporate Communications with the delivery of key communications campaigns for the Group (internal/external)
» Identify key speaking opportunities, public appearances, lectures, contests, or exhibits (local / international) and negotiate/facilitate Group’s presence during industry events and conferences.
» Organize/facilitate corporate visits and presentations, be the Group’s speakers to external audiences.
» Monitor publicity to find out concerns and expectations of the Group’s stakeholders.
» Manage the flow of information between the Group and its audiences.
» Create and manage corporate identity materials (website, intranet, videos, brochures, presentations, greeting cards, etc) including supporting their design, writing copy and assisting until their final production and delivery.
» Manage relationships with partner organisations in the Middle East and Europe (France, Italy, UK) – universities, luxury associations, luxury industry organisations
» Support the development and (if needed) implementation of a crisis communications plan

Desired Skills & Experience
Education
University Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or Public Relations
Previous Experience
2 – 6 years of relevant experience in Dubai (with PR/press data base in any of the following fields: beauty/ hospitality/ finance/ pharmaceutical/ or any luxury industry).
Linguistic Skills: Excellent English and Arabic, French is an asset
