We are looking for a regional media / public relations manager to be based in the regional office in Beirut. The incumbent will participate in setting the PR strategy for the Firm, its service lines, industries and geographies across the region, and will be responsible for media relations in the ME region, run press events and media trainings, write press releases (English, Arabic), and analyze media metrics.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years experience in a similar role preferably in a multinational firm
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and manage multiple projects
- Ability to communicate professionally with partners and high-level executives
- Ability to work with little supervision and be part of a virtual team
- Ability to manage work to meet deadlines, often under severe time pressures
- Detail oriented and conscientious
- Team player attitude, motivated, flexible, creative thinker, and a fast learner
- Excellent organizational, communication and time-management skills
- University degree from a reputable university in journalism, public relations, communications, media, sociology or related fields
- Excellent command of Arabic and English, French is an asset
