Our client a global leader and world’s largest designer, manufacturer, and supplier of engineered sealing systems, solutions, and associated products. We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager . The position will be a member of the senior management team and report directly to the Saudi Arabia General Manager. The role will be based in the Jeddah office whilst a service centre is established in Yanbu. Job Functions Deliver the sales budget plan for the region Identify and penetrate new market sectors and customers (Power and Water)Promote Specialised Business products Improve customer relationships through regular face to face reviews and leveraging the service centre network to improve service levels and delivery performance Gather intelligence on key projects competitors and defend existing business from direct competitor attacks To develop a sales and service strategy for the region focused on servicing the existing customer base, whilst in parallel identifying new opportunities and exploiting them to maximum effect.Develop a functional service centre in Yanbu
Skills
Language and Education Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic. Computer literate in MS Office University degree in mechanical engineering or similar field Professional Skills and Experience 5+ years of professional experience in engineering, sales and marketing.A technical background, ideally engineered products.Sound knowledge of oil and gas customers and their requirements.Background of Pumps, mechanical seals, sealing support systems, rotating equipment, Compressors or General Turbo machinery field. Ability to discuss and negotiate at all levels.Knowledge and experience of Saudi market is an advantage.Experience of working in a multinational and multicultural environment is an advantage.Competencies Persistent and efficient, self-starter with good sense of initiative Good administration and organizational skills Result-oriented Team-player Accountable, Responsible Persuasive Personal drive and Integrity Customer focused
