Summary
Market researchers collect and analyse information and collect data from a variety of sources to enable organisations to make informed decisions. Quantitative and Qualitative research focuses on gathering and analysing information using techniques such as questionnaires and electronic data collection.
This will involve ensuring that industry data, competitor intelligence and customer insights are available and relevant, as well as supporting more general marketing activities.
This role would suit someone with previous research, call centre or database administration experience
Responsibilities
•Update projects within the database on a regular basis.
•Identify key industry trends in order to increase opportunities
•To research in-depth information about competitive forces. Identify secondary and competitive market intelligence to provide strategic insights
•To undertake adhoc research to support specific business cases as required
•Gather information of new projects within the various sectors under study by primary and secondary research techniques.
•Ensure that all the updates are made within the stipulated time.
•Respond to client queries as directed by the Research Executives and Managers.
•Database management and administration
•Should be aware of all the projects within the respective countries under study.
•Have a proper understanding of all the activities of the company and its subsidiaries.
•Should keep him/her updated with the trends of the GCC construction industry.
Skills
Experience in marketing research, call centre and data entry using MS office ( Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Excellent communication skills are essential, as the post holder must be able to present their findings.
English & Arabic Must
