General Purpose:
To analyze, create and launch various quantitative and qualitative methodologies for use in planning future releases, promotions, and marketing plans. Research includes working with finance on competitive sales data from technology penetration rates to identify and explain key trends in the market. This position will also help manage primary research vendors including questionnaire and survey design, project execution, and final analysis.
Main Duties & Responsibility:
•Create and manage primary research projects to support the needs of Sales, Marketing, Editorial, and Audience Development.
•Analyze issue and recommend required actions.
•Taking appropriate decisions as needed and advising the Executive Manager for Research accordingly.
•Serves in a supervisory or lead capacity or as an expert in Market research.
Manage and coordinate activities concerning market research, analysis and development of new concepts and ideas.
•Identify and formulate actionable outcomes that will help drive the revenue and profits.
Work with outside research services, operations and business development groups within Entertainment.
•Implement research techniques, collects and tracks results. Interprets, analyzes and translates research findings into actionable recommendations that lead to business growth.
•Incorporate the latest qualitative and quantitative online and offline marketing research techniques. These techniques could include consumer focus groups, statistical research packages, surveys, research studies, price elasticity studies, new product tests, usability studies, etc.
•Designs and costs research methods and manage / execute the project to timeline and cost targets.
•Participate in strategic planning analysis.
•Taking appropriate decisions as needed and advising the Executive Manager for Research accordingly
Skills
•Bachelor’s degree in Business studies or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
•2-3years experience in a commercial / private sector company.
•Ability to read and understand quantitative research.
•Ability to help design and judge qualitative results.
•Solid knowledge of statistical methods, and a strong database development background.
•Excellent bilingual (English / Arabic) language capabilities.
•Technology oriented / Internet efficient user.
•Well organized.
•Experience in Saudi Arabia market.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business studies or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
