Leading media services company Rotana has launched Alboome, the first Arab music facebook apps to connect music lovers through a social network.
Personally I’m not a fan of these applications on facebook as I consider them silly and a complete waste of time but at the end of the day people love them, and it’s good to see more brands from the region adopting social media in their marketing plans, specially with the growing in number of internet users, in an independent research done by this site, last month there were more than 11 million users from the MENA region on facebook, yea, it should be really attractive to any marketing dude, especially when you know that 73.6% of them are less than 30 years old.
