Responsibilities
Demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. Integrates and develops processes that meet business needs across the organization. Involved in long-term planning. This role contributes to the overall strategy and manages complex issues within functional areas area of expertise.
* Own convertible orders OP for the current quarter, year, and quarter plus 4Qs for the entire portfolio from outages (parts, field services, repairs) to projects (value packs, long term agreements).
* Drive aggressive growth targets in all markets: metric targets will address volume, mix (penetration) and timing.
* Meet or exceed operational requirements: analytical reporting, Session C, operating reviews, and cost.
* Lead and develop assigned Sales Managers.
* Build customer relationships for the purpose of Business development and Sales.
* Develop customer strategies, campaign plans, and leadership in their execution.
* Integrate information, resources, and activities within the region and/or among global regions.
* Customer satisfaction evaluation, plans, and follow through
* Demonstrate commercial and technical expertise in specific market.
* Own regional input for SI/SII planning and forecasting for power generation.
* Drive core services strategy and growth initiatives within the region.
* Direct the core services sales team to identify and develop opportunities driving core services growth.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
* At least 5 additional years of experience in industry-related sales, application engineering and/or marketing
* At least 2 years experience leading a sales team
Desired
* Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering is preferred
* Master’s in Business Administration is preferred
* Commercial sales experience in closing large and complex contractual agreements
* Proven project management skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs
* Proven coordination and influencing skills, especially with HQ ES teams.
* Knowledge of customer financial drivers/needs* Able to effectively lead and energize a multi-functional team to meet sales plan
* Demonstrated ability to apply Six Sigma to improve customer satisfaction; GB certification required (GE Employees Only)
* High proficiency in utilizing analytical software and sales tools (CMS, Excel, etc.)
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
