Lufthansa German Airlines is looking for you as an Sales Support Specialist.
The Sales Support Specialist initiates account management activities based on analysis and evaluation of customer portfolios. He enables the Key Account/Account Manager to optimize his sales activities by steering visits, preparing sales presentations, managing administrative and supportive tasks.
Dependent on the assignment-focus the tasks include the following:
* Regular analysis and evaluation of customer performance (corporate / SME accounts and travel agencies / travel management company) as basis for yearly planning of contracts
* Comprehensive preparation of contract proposals (incl. individual quotations)
* Contract management, including the continuous update of the contract database and flow of information to all relevant departments
* Analysis of Account Manager portfolios
* Supplying sales visit preparation kits and support the organization of sales promotion events
* Ensuring the quality of agent/corporate data as well as sales visits in the relevant IT systems
* Support the Account Management and the local Manager in administrative tasks
* Prepare the necessary papers for civil aviation (GACA) for flight schedule approval and follow up on civil aviation requirements
* Participate in projects and tasks beyond own job responsibilities
Skills
We seek a highly motivated team player with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to work with numbers/figures.
The successful candidate must have a pro-active, systematic and target-oriented work approach. Very good communication skills in English and broad social skills are a pre-requisite. Previous commercial training and/or work experience in the travel industry are of advantage. In addition, excellent computer skills (MS Office, esp. Excel & PowerPoint), a strong ability to learn new IT tools and a valid transferable residence permit (iqama) are required.
