Senior Marketing Manager | GE Energy Dubai, UAE

Essential Responsibilities
- Champion programs to meet region-specific customer requirements, competitive threats and market opportunities.
- Support the Energy Services (ES) Sales Regional Manager through the development and execution of a regional growth plan. Lead the annual Growth Playbook process for the region. This includes the use of fundamental marketing tools and techniques to guide the region through key questions and assumptions to help refine the short term and long term business strategy
- Identify long-term opportunities to facilitate earlier customer engagement by the ES sales and/or P&L teams.
- Oversee region-specific ES demand creation activities.
- Assist in the definition and execution of regional, product line growth strategies across the Energy Services portfolio.
- Provide region-specific market and customer information to Product Line leadership on a project basis.
- Manage requests by the leadership teams for segmentation, country assessments, market intelligence, value proposition development, customer profiles, scenario planning, win/loss analysis, CECOR activities, and regulatory policy support.
- Support P&L teams with commercialization processes for new and existing offerings including NPI tollgate deliverables.
- Coordinate regional Voice of Customer (VOC) activities and provide actionable insights. This will require coordination with other business units and functions to effectively interact with customers that are shared across GE Energy Service
- Undertake customer classification and segmentation, develop differentiation, targeting and positioning strategies to drive services growth and segment penetration
- As needed, provide inputs for customer value and economic modeling to support the creation of services forecasts
- Collaborate and partner with region, P&L, and strategic marketing team members to drive marketing excellence and benchmark best practices

Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in engineering, business, marketing, or related field. – 5 or more years commercial experience in Marketing, Sales or Product Management roles, of which must include commercial experience in the region. At least three years experience in Marketing, driving programs and projects specific to the region, including market assessments, segmentation, and voice of customer activities.- Commercial or technical experience in the GE Energy business or Energy sector- Experience in power transmission & distribution, controls & diagnostics, and gas/steam turbine equipment, and other applications preferred. – Strong oral and written communication skills- Strong interpersonal, influencing, and leadership skills; proven ability to work well in a matrix environment- Experience leading or managing projects of various size, duration, and scope – Strong analytical, project management and organizational skills- Executive level presentation skills

- Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Marketing preferred.- 10 or more years commercial experience in Marketing, Sales or Product Management roles, of which must include commercial experience in the region. 5 or more years experience in Marketing, driving programs and projects specific to the region.- Previous experience developing overall marketing strategy for a product or service line of business- GE Leadership Program Graduate, such as ECLP (GE employees only)- Business Development skills and an entrepreneurial spirit- CECOR & Marketing Essentials trained (GE employees only)
