The Position: Develop, control and conduct sales services and activities for Emirates Hotels & Resorts within the designated territory. In addition to be responsible for the handling, development, and co-ordination of group meetings, incentives, and conferences, (MICE), for the resort from the local and international market.
Responsible for achieving agreed occupancy, yield and market segment targets from allocated markets and to act as the co-ordinator for these markets between the client and the EK H&R Operations Departments.

Qualifications:
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)
- A proven ability to exercise judgement and decision making in the development and running of a sales department in the hospitality or travel industry, and a knowledge of the tourism market and the players, (Agents, DMC?s and Corporate houses).
- Highly developed skill in communication, influence and negotiation, presentation and personal impact, with outstanding written and oral communication skills in English. Additional languages will be a distinct advantage.
- A well-defined knowledge of selling and deal-making techniques, excellent presentation skills, and comfort with conducting presentations with audiences.
- Analytical and report writing skills and computer literacy are a requirement of the position.
- A strong team player, capable of understanding the overall business initiatives, while being able to focus on details and processes in a clear and organised manner. Self motivated, pro-active, and sociable in a multi-national environment.
- Capable of performing well under pressure, with an adaptable and result-driven style.
