Job Description

We want a social media executive to join our growing Dubai team to support us with the social media efforts of a large multinational telecommunication company. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of social media and a knack for promoting successful digital marketing campaigns through social networks. Knowledge of established social networks is essential, as well as familiarity with a host of emerging and niche networks.

The job will involve community management so experience in this area is important, yet we are also looking for someone with the ability to take a tactical and strategic view of campaigns. Above all, the successful candidate will have an innate ability to connect with influencers and users online.

The ideal candidate will have fluent written and verbal Arabic and French language skills and be well versed in the nuances of the MENA market.

Your main duties will include:

  • Distribute content through a variety of social media channels
  • Manage social media communities, responding to questions and mediating productive discussions
  • Build productive relationships with a variety of influencers in the digital space pertaining to specific verticals
  • Manage internal social media campaigns
  • Support the marketing manager in this area
  • Participate in campaign planning and idea generation
  • Work closely with account managers, and regularly communicate with clients and stakeholders

Requirements
Essential

  • 1+ year experience in a role directly related to social media
  • In depth knowledge of social media, feed marketing, community management and blogging
  • Native speaker in Arabic is a must
  • Fluency in French is also a must
  • Experience sourcing and managing online content
  • Superb oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Understanding of the digital landscape and online marketing
  • Developed customer service skills, and experience working with clients on a day-to-day basis
  • Professional, confident and friendly presence in all business situations

Desired

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Understanding of accounts, and the ability to work productively with the accounts department
  • A good understanding of other aspects of online marketing online PR and content development
  • Demonstrated research skills into all things online
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and other analytical tools
