The Social Media Manager will be a digital and social expert. The Social Media Manager will play a pivotal role in defining a new business area for this company. The Social Media Manager will manage the business performance of this area and also manage the performance of all social media accounts. The Social Media Manager will lead on new client pitches as well as act as the brand ambassador for this business unit.

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing a communication strategy for a number of clients and deliver in line with the client’s objectives. The Social Media Manager will create strategic paths for their client’s digital and social media programmes.

You will oversee social media accounts on behalf of the agency with duties including, but not limited to: research proposals, pitches, budgets, campaign & content creation, execution, monitoring and reporting.

Requirements

As a Social Media Manager will be responsible for defining and executing our social media and wider engagement strategy.

The job holder will need to have:

  • Degree holder with minimum of 4 years hands-on Social Media and/or content marketing experience
  • Proven track record of running a successful social media presence and online community building
  • Proven experience in implementing social media, digital & integrated marketing campaigns
  • Strong understanding of developing and optimising content for Social Media, Outreach & PR
  • Oversee multiple media accounts. While you will not be handling community management,the social media manager must oversee all the accounts.
  • You will ensure channels are being updated correctly and accurately and use a number of tools (such as hootsuite or Tweetdeck) to do this
  • Proven experience in social and content platform and management (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
