Specific Media, a next generation media platform company, today announced the promotion of John Chung to Vice President of Sales for the Great Lakes region.

In his new role, Chung will leverage his 12 plus years of experience managing digital initiatives for major brands, overseeing business in the Detroit market and surrounding region.
Chung joined Specific Media in 2007 as Director of Sales and Client Services. In his four years with Specific Media, Chung has played an integral role in developing innovative products for some of the company’s top customers and building solid relationships at both the client and agency level. Prior to Specific Media, he held management positions at Young & Rubicam, Organic, Inc. and Microsoft, where he achieved significant growth in year-over-year online advertising revenue for his accounts and was recognized as a top performer for MSN.
