The ‘Most Contagious’ Retail campaign goes to Vodafone Fakka
London and New York vote ‘Making Small Seem Big’ a global winner
Beirut, Lebanon (12 December 2013) — Vodafone Fakka by JWT Cairo, the most awarded idea in the MENA region, has ended 2013 in the same way it began the year, by winning big. Seeing off stiff competition from Disney’s MagicBand last night Vodafone Fakka was awarded Contagious Magazine’s Most Contagious Retail award in New York, together with the Audience Award for most contagious idea in London.
A pioneering business solution, the Vodafone Fakka campaign – which made small seem big by replacing small change with valuable airtime – has impressed judges across the spectrum of award criteria for its creativity, its strategic insight, its excellence in planning and sheer effectiveness as a campaign. To-date the campaign has garnered a total of 20 awards including 3 Grand Prix and 10 Golds.
The Most Contagious Awards recognize the companies and communications that are changing the world for the better, demonstrating the transformational power of creativity. The Most Contagious Audience Award is derived from that list of winners with delegates voting for what they consider to be the single standout campaign of the year.
