Looking for enthusiastic people to gather, edit and manage exciting new website with a focus financial sector. There will be a lot of content to manage and update on a daily basis, so will need people familiar with web 2.0 technology and with IT and web-editing skills.
The webmaster role will involve a large amount of content generation, particularly in the initial stages.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop the editorial vision for the Website and manage the editorial calendar
- Edit and develop Web-only articles, to ensure continuous novelty on the site.
- Create text and images for publication
- Stimulate action in the site’s social network.
- Manage web users feedback
Requirements and Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent experience in Business Finance and/or Information Technology or Jornalism
- Superior writing and editing skills in Arabic
- Good command of English language
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Skills
- E-marketing software (producing newsletters)
- Ability to merge content from a variety of sources to create unified, appropriate content for upload through the CMS
- Content Management System experience
- Forums & Blogs
- Strong grasp of layout principals for web; ability to select, size, prep, create new images for web using Photoshop
- Web accessibility, SEO, using social Media in publishing
- Adobe Acrobat Professional – extracting content from pdfs
- IT skills, computer literacy, web page creation experience
- Magazine, web, advertising experience a plus
